🧭 Preparation & choosing a spouse · #100
How do we choose a wedding package or vendor without falling for a scam?
Do not pay a large deposit before you have seen proof of work, a written agreement and a clear company record. Ask for a list of past clients and contact at least two of them. Check the premises address and genuine reviews, not just pictures on social media. Make sure the agreement states what is included, the date, staged payments and what happens if the vendor cancels. Pay into the company's account, not an employee's personal account. An offer that is too cheap for a popular date deserves suspicion. If you are cheated anyway, keep all the evidence and make a police report immediately. See family finances.
