President of PAS. Married Toh Puan Seri Zainab Awang Ngah in 1976 and Dr Norzita Taat in 1991; both marriages remain intact.

Married Arna Salleh (2013). His second marriage, to Vivy Jeffry, was revealed in October 2019; they divorced by triple talaq in November 2019, confirmed by the court in 2022.

Married actress Zizie Izette in December 2009 without court permission while still married; pleaded guilty in April 2010. Passed away on 5 December 2025.
Founder of the Al-Arqam movement (banned 1994). Reported to have had four wives at the same time and about 40 children. Passed away in 2010.
Second wife to a businessman for almost 30 years. Has related that she herself asked the first wife's permission before marrying.
Became the second wife of preacher Ustaz Syed Abd Kadir Syed Hussin Aljoofre on 30 November 2013.

Married in Songkhla in December 2015 as the second wife of businessman Datuk Seri Adnan Abu (Datuk Red). The polygamous marriage ended in divorce in 2024.

Launched by Global Ikhwan on 15 August 2009 in Rawang with a reported membership of about 646. Its registration with the Registrar of Societies was unsuccessful following objections from a minister.
