A child is ill at one wife's home on a night that is not her turn. Can the husband go there?

The husband may drop by to see a sick child even on a night that is not the mother's turn, because that is a need, not a preference. Visiting and looking after a sick child is a responsibility, and the Shariah does not restrict urgent matters like this. Go for the child's sake, see to their needs, and avoid using it as an excuse to spend the whole night without reason. If the child's condition requires you to stay the night there, explain it to the wife whose turn that night should be, and if reasonable make up her day. Transparency keeps everyone's trust. Honestly distinguish between a real need and a ploy for favouritism. See the rota in practice.
