Which wife's house for the first day of Hari Raya?

No specific text sets which wife should come first on Hari Raya; the principle is to follow the existing rotation cycle, or mutual agreement, or drawing lots.
Hari Raya is just an ordinary day in counting the rotation, but its emotional value is high. Many families choose to alternate year by year, or to divide morning and afternoon with everyone's agreement. A wise husband plans it early, discusses it openly and avoids surprises. If there is no agreement, drawing lots is a fair method taken from the practice of the Prophet ﷺ (Sahih al-Bukhari 2593). The children of each household should also be made to feel celebrated.
