Q&A › Worship in the home

🕌 Worship in the home · #108

We cannot always attend religious classes together. How can we keep learning as a couple?

When one of you attends a class, they can be a bridge of knowledge to the other. Agree that whoever attends a class will share one or two things they learned when they get home. Make brief notes and retell it in your own words so that both of you understand. Choose one practice from that knowledge to try together that week. Listen to recorded lectures together while travelling. Put questions to a trusted teacher when confusion arises, and avoid making your own rulings. In this way, one seat in a class benefits the whole home. See educating the family.
