My spouse's infidelity has shattered my self-confidence. How do I rebuild it?

Betrayal often makes the betrayed person feel not good enough, when the shortcoming is not in you. Start by rejecting the inner voice that blames you for someone else's choice. Bring back the things that give you meaning: worship, good friendships, and skills and interests you had set aside. Surround yourself with people who remind you who you really are. Look after your body and your routine, because a body cared for strengthens the soul. Remember that your worth comes from Allah and your deeds, not from the treatment of someone who is in the wrong. If your confidence is hard to recover, a counsellor can help you rebuild it. See mental health.
