What is the OSCC and how does it help victims of domestic violence?
The OSCC (One Stop Crisis Centre) is a service in government hospital emergency departments that helps victims of domestic violence, rape and abuse in an integrated way.
At the OSCC, victims receive medical treatment, injuries are recorded in a medical report (important evidence), and the hospital team can connect victims with the police, Social Welfare Officers and counsellors. You can go straight to the emergency unit and tell the staff that you are a victim of violence. Go as soon as possible after the incident so that the injuries can be recorded. For support at any time, call Talian Kasih 15999; if you are in danger, 999. See Nushuz & conflict.
