My husband refuses to tell me who his prospective second wife is. Do I have the right to know?
It is right that you know; it touches your life and your children's, and the details usually come out in the application process. If the application has been filed, you will find out when you attend the hearing. But it is better for your husband to be upfront earlier. Say it calmly, for example, ‘I don't want to fight. I just want to know who will become part of our family.’ Your purpose in knowing is to prepare, not to attack that woman. Avoid contacting her while angry. If your husband keeps it secret, tell the judge, because openness is closely tied to justice. See contacting the prospective second wife.
