Bolehkah suami memaksa isteri bersama walaupun isteri sakit atau tidak rela?

Tidak; memaksa dengan kekerasan atau ketika isteri uzur bercanggah dengan perintah bergaul secara makruf, malah boleh menjadi kesalahan jenayah. Al-Quran menyifatkan suami isteri sebagai pakaian antara satu sama lain dan menuntut kasih sayang serta belas. Isteri yang sakit atau mempunyai uzur tidak berdosa menolak. Di Malaysia, Kanun Keseksaan menjadikan kesalahan bagi suami yang menyebabkan kecederaan atau ugutan untuk bersetubuh dengan isteri. May a husband force his wife to have relations even when she is ill or unwilling?

No; forcing her with violence or while she is unwell contradicts the command to live together in kindness, and may even be a criminal offence.
The Qur'an describes husband and wife as garments for one another and calls for love and compassion. A wife who is ill or has a valid excuse commits no sin in refusing. In Malaysia, the Penal Code makes it an offence for a husband to cause hurt or use threats in order to have intercourse with his wife.
