May one marry a woman and her aunt at the same time?
No. It is forbidden to be married at the same time to a woman and her paternal aunt ('ammah) or maternal aunt (khalah).
Abu Hurairah r.a. narrated that the Prophet ﷺ forbade a woman being joined (in marriage) with her paternal aunt, or with her maternal aunt (Sahih al-Bukhari 5109; Sahih Muslim, Kitab an-Nikah). If a husband marries both in one contract, both contracts are void; if one after the other, the second contract is void. This prohibition is temporary: if the first wife dies, or is divorced and her ʿiddah ends, only then may he marry the other. See Mahram.
