The Department of Biology at 日韩AV is looking for a highly qualified biologist to fill a tenure-track position, beginning fall 2025. The successful candidate will demonstrate capacity for effective college biology teaching, productive research and research mentoring, and scholarly service; good interpersonal skills; and commitment to the integration of faith and learning. The specific field of expertise is negotiable, but the successful candidate will demonstrate ability to teach broadly in biology.

Open Rank tenure-track faculty position in the Department of English with teaching (4/4), service, and scholarship responsibilities beginning July 2024. Entails teaching composition and literature courses each term. The genres and periods of specialization are open, but we are especially interested in candidates who can teach American literature, race and ethnic studies, Children’s and/or YA Literature, and English Education classes, and whose profile allows the candidate to collaborate with other departments on campus. The coordinator will have both administrative and teaching duties. 

• Candidates are required to have a doctoral degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology preferably with a State licensure as a Counselor (LPC)
• EPPP licensure required.

The Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences at 日韩AV is seeking a highly skilled and innovative individual for a full-time (12-month) tenure track Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) faculty to teach in a NAACLS accredited MLS Program. The applicant should possess skills to effectively teach university courses for MLS students and participate in appropriate scholarly and service activities consistent with the vision, mission, and philosophy of the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences. The candidate should demonstrate competence in both didactic and clinical education as well as curriculum development.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in MLS or related area.
• Doctoral or Ph.D. degree preferred.
• National (U.S.) recognized Medical Laboratory Science certification such as that offered by the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
• Minimum of three years of generalist clinical experience with preferred emphasis on immunology/immunohematology (blood bank/transfusion medicine)
• Commitment to professional development.

Reporting to the Dean of the College of Health and Human Services (CHHS), the Chair has responsibility for the overall operations in the School of Nursing, which includes BSN, RN-to-BSN, and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs. The Chair maintains the accreditation of the programs, development and maintenance of the evaluation plan, curriculum review, organization of division projects, faculty development, and the self-study report.

• Doctorate degree in Nursing (preferred) or a doctorate degree in a health-related field, leadership, or education with a master’s degree in nursing.

The Department of Physics at 日韩AV invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position to commence in July 2025.  Candidates with research interests in any area of  physics or astronomy will be considered and the successful candidate is expected to establish an active research program in physics.  Teaching experience in introductory, intermediate, and advanced physics courses is preferred  but evidence of pedagogical talent, creativity, dedication, and commitment is sufficient. 

The successful candidate will be expected to develop and teach undergraduate courses required for general education, professional career preparation, and entry into graduate academic programs. The candidate’s academic and research experience at the core of their physics doctoral degree or postdoc is expected to play a key role in upper division coursework, inspiring and equiping majors for subsequent advanced study or for direct entry into the workforce.

• DrPH or PhD in public health or related field.
• A minimum of one year of teaching experience at the university level is required. Online teaching experience is a plus.

• 3-5 years of teaching experience at the university level

The primary responsibilities of this faculty appointment are to teach in the DPT program and serve as the neurology track coordinator. The faculty appointment has administrative, academic, service, and scholarship responsibilities consistent with the mission and philosophy of the School of Rehabilitation Sciences (SRS). 

• Earned Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE accredited program. 
• Earned advanced doctorate (academic or professional). Candidates enrolled in an advanced doctorate with a reasonable projected completion date may be considered.

• APTA Board-Certified Neurological Clinical Specialist preferred.
