STUDIOs & LABS

The Architecture Building

SPACE FOR CREATIVITY

Creative people need studio space and labs to test ideas, build models, share concepts, and draw. The Architecture Building is an old warehouse with raw space overlooking the St. Joseph river valley and is perfect for making things.

We invite you to get your hands dirty in our workshop, rest in The ARC, and explore our future plans.

YOUR OWN DESK

Unlike at most schools, here we provide you with your own drafting desk, borco cover, parallel drawing ruler, desk lamp, and desk stool. If you treat it well, there’s no extra charge!

This is our home, and its halls are our gallery of creative work. Set up an appointment and visit us. One of our professors will be glad to give you a tour!

Student to student mentoring, organized by the AIAS, in conjunction with a shared studio environment, promotes open idea sharing and dialogue
enhancing the education in the program.
