  • BS/MS 5-year students will move to the block tuition during the 4th year (senior year/first graduate year).  During this time all undergraduate scholarships will no longer apply, however, students will become eligible for the GRE/GPA scholarship. 
  • Transitional 3-Year Student —are eligible for a 33% Tuition Discount. Students who have earned a baccalaureate degree may receive a 33% tuition reduction for courses taken during the completion of the prerequisites. Courses included in the package tuition, but are not required for the 2nd degree, will be billed at full tuition. The completed forms must be filed with the respective dean no later than two weeks after the beginning of each semester for which the 33% tuition reduction is requested. An official transcript showing all class work and the awarding of a bachelor’s degree must be on file with the Office of Academic Records of the university before the 33% tuition reduction can be applied. Students enrolled in a graduate program but who must complete undergraduate prerequisites are eligible. See link to access the application: TUITION REDUCTION FORM.

  • MS-SLP students are eligible for the Graduate Scholarship  for up to 4 semesters after completing a bachelor's degree. This scholarship is a flat-rate tuition discount off the block tuition rate. See above for details

    • Eligibility for this financial aid is based on need established by completion of the FAFSA, which includes an evaluation of the student’s income and assets.

    • Financial aid application packets are available after January 1st by calling Enrollment Information Services (269-471-6509) or Student Financial Services (269-471-3334).

    • Turn in all necessary financial aid documents.

  • The School of Communication Sciences & Disorders has limited resources for financial aid which include graduate assistantships and scholarships.

  • Other sources of support for students include parental assistance, accumulated savings, the income of working spouses, part-time jobs, scholarships, and loans.

  • Eligible students may receive Federal Direct Student Loans, Federal Perkins Loans, and Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants.

    • Interest on the loans accrues at a comparatively low rate and the loans are repayable over an extended period of time after you complete your course of study.
