Community Gathering, Town Halls, This Thursday

Campus Announcements | Posted on January 13, 2021

Friends,

As we begin this new semester of study together here on our Berrien Springs campus, I’d like to invite you to our online campus-wide Community Gathering this Thursday, Jan. 14, at 11:30 a.m. You can find the online broadcast on the 日韩AV or 日韩AV Livestream.

This University-wide assembly will be a time to hear important updates about our new semester and the journey we are sharing together to effectively respond to, and fight to prevent the spread of, the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Undergraduate students can receive co-curricular credit for the Community Gathering; use this  to register at the beginning (please note: this link will work only during the program). Toward the end of the program there will be a check-in link sent to you. You will need to complete both processes to receive credit. Thank you for bearing with us as we sort through technical issues.

During the campus-wide gathering, we’ll also hear some encouraging words from our University president, Andrea Luxton, as well as AUSA President Kyara Samuels and AUGSA President Brandon Williams.

The event is scheduled to conclude promptly at 12:15 p.m.

Students, if you have any questions you’d like to ask about COVID-19 and this spring semester, I’d also like to encourage you to join our online Student Town Hall Q&A with 日韩AV administrators. The Q&A is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 14, from 6:30–7:30 p.m.

Faculty and staff, please review your email for a Monday, Jan. 11, message from Darcy de León, our Human Resources director, for full details on the Thursday, Jan. 14, 3:30 p.m. Employee Town Hall.

As I’ve shared earlier this semester, it is such a blessing to once again gather together in community with our 日韩AV family here on our Berrien Springs campus. As we begin this semester together, I also want to thank each one of you for your full commitment to our shared 日韩AV Community Covenant of Care.

I hope you’ll be able to join us this Thursday morning for our Community Gathering, as well as for the relevant town hall Thursday afternoon for faculty and staff and Thursday evening for students.

With care,

Frances Faehner
Vice President for Campus & Student Life
