The "excused" option has been removed from LearningHub default course space templates in compliance with a decision made by the University.
If your attendance does not count for聽points in the gradebook, you can use either present or absent and mark a note if desired.聽
If your attendance counts for聽points, you can either mark present or absent and indicate that it is an excused absence in the comments. If you mark present your grade should reflect the absence聽accurately, but if you mark absent, you will need to override the grade manually. We would recommend writing down聽these instances and changing the grade at the end of the semester as once you change the grade manually, the grade will now be defined by what you set it as and will no longer update when more聽attendance is taken.
