While you can receive quality PT education at many schools across the nation, together the seven very important features built in to our entry-level program that sets us apart:
Everything we do is integrated with our vision of "Uniting Christian Values with Healthcare Education" and our mission "To empower students who dream of becoming excellent physical therapists". Every aspect of learning and interaction with faculty and clinicians is integrated with the goal to serve the whole person not just the physical needs of patients. Students have the opportunity to put their PT skills and faith into action through pro bono service and volunteer opportunities.
Andrews PT students are NOT in competition with any classmate for grades or ranking. Class members are encouraged to be supportive and help each other succeed. We believe this not only reflects our Christian philosophy of education but is also more representative of clinical expectations after graduation.
Our faculty, staff, and students care about each other. You will be surrounded by people who want you to succeed. It's satisfying to know that even though you will be investing a considerable amount of time, money, and energy into your professional education, you will have a support system.
In addition to a quality educational experience, graduate classes are small enough to provide a personal learning experience. Some classes are held conference-style, which promotes involved, direct discussion between students and faculty.

** First time pass rates are below our expectation thus we have taken action to improve the first time pass rates. Be sure to contact us if you have questions about our improvement plan. We strive to empower students who dream of becoming excellent physical therapists; behind every failure is a unique story which includes tragedy and triumph that numbers cannot explain. We endeavor to create a learning environment that leads to success on the first attempt of the NPTE, however, overall pass rate is what really matters and is required by our accrediting body. Our admissions process is holistic, we are not looking for just a 4.0. We believe God leads us in our admissions selection of students and therefore, each of our students are in the right place at the right time. It is our privilege to serve and support our students and graduates, especially as they journey through failure to success. As you review our statistics, remember they only tell a small part of the story.
