At this year’s event, attendees can look forward to: <ul> <li> Cooking demonstrations by both locally and nationally renowned chefs</li> <li> Delicious food, including free samples from a diverse range of local and regional vendors</li> <li> Engaging lectures by prominent authors and health experts, shedding light on: <ul> <li> The environmental impact of animal agriculture</li> <li> Ethical concerns tied to the meat and dairy industries</li> <li> The extensive health benefits of adopting a plant-based diet</li> </ul> </li> <li> Close to 100 vendors and exhibitors showcasing vegan-friendly products, services and organizations</li> <li> A dynamic, interactive Kids’ Corner, designed to entertain and educate children</li> <li> Live music to create a festive atmosphere for all to enjoy</li> </ul> Our festival warmly welcomes everyone from southwestern Michigan, northern Indiana and beyond, including students from nearby colleges. Michiana VegFest also proudly supports local vegan-friendly businesses and organizations. Through its VegEDU program, the festival extends its mission year-round, offering educational opportunities on health and environmental topics to the broader community. The Eau Claire church celebrates Easter weekend with a community fellowship meal at 9 a.m., followed by the church service at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Shepherd's sermon is titled "Revelation's Glorious Climax," the conclusion of the Keys to Revelation prophecy seminar. Included in the program will be an archeology presentation by Michael Orellana and an explanation by artist Nathan Greene of his painting of the Second Coming of Jesus titled "The Blessed Hope." All are welcome. The Eau Claire church is located at 6562 Naomi Road in Eau Claire. Prayer meeting is at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays via Zoom. Thu, 17 Apr 2025 16:37:14 +0000 Community Messiah Sing http://www.andrews.edu/agenda/67155 To celebrate the sacred glory of the Easter season, the Eau Claire Seventh-day Adventist Church is hosting a Community Messiah Sing. This is an invitation for interfaith Christians to join together in praise of the death and resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ. We will sing to the recorded “accompaniment” of a Baroque Chamber Orchestra, featuring the type of instrumentation the original performance of Handel’s "Messiah" oratorio had. Bring a "Messiah" score if you have one. However, we will have extra copies available at the church. Date and Time: 4–5:30 p.m., Saturday, April 19. We’ll be singing the Easter portion of Handel’s "Messiah," concluding with the “Hallelujah” chorus! This two-volume set recounts the history of �պ�AV from its early days as Battle Creek College and Emmanuel Missionary College. In this interview, Jones Gray will reflect on her research and writing process as it intersects with her own long history at Andrews. Mars Community Center is located at 26-50 Sylvester Ave., Berrien Springs.
