The topic of sexuality and addiction is rarely talked about in the Adventist church. For those who struggle with sexually compulsive behaviors or have experienced betrayal due to someone else’s behaviors, this often contributes to feelings of isolation and shame.

At this two-day conference, we’re going to talk about sex: how our sexuality is God’s design but sometimes our life experiences take us in a direction we never intended to go. We will offer practical tools for breaking the shame cycle, renewing the mind, establishing sexual integrity, starting a healing ministry, and creating a culture of grace to help people overcome unwanted sexual behaviors and betrayal trauma.

By attending you will learn the tools necessary to help our communities be places of healing.

Pornography in particular is impacting younger generations with studies showing 60 percent, and higher, of teens being exposed to pornography. Increasing access to and use of the internet, social media and the entertainment culture exposes them to images and ideas about sex and romantic relationships that are destructive. We need to invest in learning how to help!
