Michael Nixon, vice president for University Culture & Inclusion, shares, "Over the years I have had the privilege of getting to know all of my sister's friends well. I consider them all like little sisters to me as they spent so much time fellowshipping at my parents' house. Gabby was one of that core group. She always had a smile on her face and was ready to try and make you smile or laugh as well. My heart breaks for her family and for her close friends like my sister who loved and cherished their time with her so much. This is painful and confusing, but we will try as hard as we can to continue clinging to the assurance that we will see her again soon. Rest well, Gabby. We all look forward to seeing your smile once again."
