Death of Esther Harriott Ottley

Esther Harriott Ottley, the first person of color and the first woman of color to have graduated with a BA in mathematics from 日韩AV, class of 1954, passed away on February 20, 2020. You can read more about her remarkable story here.

The funeral service for Dr. Ottley will take place Sunday, March 8, 2020, at the Metropolitan Seventh-day Adventist Church, 6307 Riggs Rd., Hyattsville, Maryland 20783.

Family Hour—9 a.m.
Service—10 a.m.
Interment—Immediately following service at the George Washington Cemetery, 9500 Riggs Road, Adelphi, MD 20783
Repast—Immediately following interment at the Metropolitan Seventh-Day Adventist Church
