It’s on people’s minds. Millions of books have been sold—too often with the truth left behind. Social media is filled with people sharing and re-sharing conspiracy theories about it. As ongoing wars rage across the world, and hurricanes and tornadoes and floods rock the planet on a regular basis, people around the globe are asking, “Are these the last days?”

Starting Friday, Oct. 19 at 7:30 p.m., during "The Appearing," we’ll explore that topic by studying what the Bible has to say about the second coming of Christ. In addition, you’ll take a closer look at the ancient prophecies of the Bible and piece together a startling but undeniable picture of last-day events that may come as a surprise to many people.

This series, hosted by Voice of Prophecy speaker/director Shawn Boonstra, will take a documentary-style, Bible-based approach to this topic.

This series will address questions such as:

• What does the Bible say about the battle of Armageddon?

• Did the Bible predict the storms, wars and political unrest we see today?

• What will it actually be like to experience the appearing of Jesus?

• What does the Bible say about a “secret rapture”?

• What are the signs that point to the appearing?

• What will heaven really be like?

Pioneer Memorial Church is thrilled to be hosting this series. "The Appearing" will involve both documentary-style presentations by Shawn Boonstra and live elements facilitated by Rodlie Ortiz, pastor for This Generation Evangelism at Pioneer Memorial Church.

All are welcome to attend this free event.

“Each session highlights key Bible passages that dispel many of today’s most popular myths about the last day and then reveal a future of hope,” said Boonstra.

Topics will include “A Planet in Upheaval,” “The Abomination of Desolation,” “The Appearing,” “Prophecy Interrupted” and “The Battle of Armageddon.”The Appearing" begins Friday, Oct. 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the PMC Youth Chapel.

You may register to attend on-site during this free event by calling 269-471-3543 or by visiting .
