Angst - Documentary Screening

Angst is a 43-minute film that explores anxiety its causes, effects and what we can do about it. The filmmakers' goal is to spark a conversation and raise awareness around anxiety. Angst features candid interviews with kids and young adults who suffer, or have suffered, from anxiety and what they've learned about it. The film includes discussions with mental health experts about the causes of anxiety and its sociological effects, as well as help, resources and tools.
This event is part of the New Student Film Series and is required of all first-year undergraduate students. Other students who are available and may be interested in the topic are encouraged to attend. The Counseling and Testing Center, which is sponsoring the screening, will have counselors on hand after the program to answer any questions. Co-curricular credit will be available for undergraduate students.
