Charles Krauthammer
Pulitzer Prize-winning Syndicated Columnist and Commentator
If it’s a sizzling topic — the economy, bioethics, the Middle East or Presidential race — Charles Krauthammer’s insightful commentary fuels national discussions. His Washington Post column won a Pulitzer Prize in 1987 and he’s now syndicated in 400 newspapers worldwide. Dr. Krauthammer gives nightly commentary on Fox’s evening news program, Special Report with Bret Baier. His latest book, Things That Matter: Three Decades of Passions, Pastimes and Politics, was a number one The New York Timesbest seller and has sold more than a million copies.
Dr. Krauthammer, however, was not always a shaper of national and world thinking. He earned his M.D. from Harvard and spent several years practicing medicine. While serving as chief resident in psychiatry at the Massachusetts General Hospital he co-discovered a form of bipolar disease.
Expect his talk to stimulate your thinking and generate lively conversations.
