Death of Thesba Johnston

Thesba Johnston, professor emerita of counseling psychology, died on Thanksgiving morning, November 27, at the age of 96 years, in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Dr. Johnston served in the School of Education from 1978–1998, and maintained a private practice as a licensed psychologist in Berrien Springs. She was the first female licensed psychologist in Berrien County.

Visitation will be from 6–8 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 2, at Allred Funeral Home, Berrien Springs. There will be a private graveside service December 3. Online messages for the family may be left at or in the Comments section of this posting.
