Outreach - R.O.C.K. Only
Ministry in the Community
Sat, April 26, 2008 @ 03:00 pm - 05:00 pm
Due to the school year wrapping up, only R.O.C.K. ministry will meet.
WHAT IS R.O.C.K.?
At R.O.C.K. (Reaching Out Connecting Kids) our mission is to provide a fun and loving place for children living in the projects of Benton Harbor to learn about God.
We share God鈥檚 word through singing, storytelling and crafts. We also encourage our volunteers to interact with the same child every week, which helps to nurture his or her spiritual and emotional development. This volunteer-child relationship is crucial to the success of our ministry. It helps children experience a Christian lifestyle and learn about the character of God.
The core of R.O.C.K. Ministry is our belief that the children we minister to are precious gifts from God, and everything we do should seek to lead their hearts to Him. As we minister to them this year, it is our prayer that God will continue to touch the children of Benton Harbor.
