Position summary
The editorial assistant will be participating in various stages of book production, assisting with projects such as a study Bible, a biblical Hebrew textbook, a theological work on the Adventist understanding of death, reprints of books by Ellen G. White, and/or manuscripts being considered for publication. Applicant must be a qualified, full-time Seminary student at ÈÕº«AV.
Qualifications summary
Applicant must have superior communication skills, with an avid interest in biblical scholarship and book production. This position involves a commitment that must be consistently kept in addition to academic pursuits.

Assist with production of books and related publishing tasks

Qualifications
- Avid interest in biblical scholarship and book production
- High level of attention to detail and quality of work
- Superior communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Advanced understanding of original biblical languages
- Knowledge of the rules of English grammar
- Ability to spend long periods of time on a single task but also regularly switch between multiple projects
- Reliability and dependability in meeting a consistent agreed-upon schedule while classes are in session
Technical competencies
- Experience with track changes in Microsoft Word
- Proficient in the use of Adobe Acrobat
Interpersonal interactions
Must be able to work collegially in an office setting with other immediate associates
